Experienced transcriptionists are placed in "on-the-job" distance or local training to be able to familiarize themselves with the MED-TECH system and procedures. This should take no more than a couple of hours. As an experienced MT, learning and macroing the dictators, learning MTR/client procedures and requirements, along with becoming familiar with quality standards will be an ongoing quest. The time it takes to learn these important aspects of your employment will vary from person to person. In our experience, most MTs are building their knowledge and speed substantially by the end of their second full day at work.

MED-TECH operates on a 24 hour-a-day, 365 day-a-year basis to satisfy our clients’ needs. Shifts and work times vary and are likewise scheduled to satisfy the client needs for target and contracted work turnaround times. Scheduled days off for MTs are also based on this need. Active hiring is ongoing for all shifts and work types and for full time and part time employees plus those interested in working as independent contractors.
